Settling in!
We have had a good time this half term settling into our classroom and making new friends. We have had lots of fun both inside and outside even in the rain!
Autumn walk
As part of our topic of Autumn, we learnt all about the season of Autumn from books and the computer. We thought about our key question 'why do leaves fall off trees?' and then went on an Autumn walk outside to find signs of Autumn. We wrapped up warm in big thick coats and welly boots and set off! We enjoyed exploring the world around us.
World Mental Health Day
As part of thinking about our wider world, Teddy Bears joined in the support for world mental health day. We all wore yellow and thought about our feelings. We talked about that it's ok to feel happy, excited, sad and angry and the correct ways of dealing with these emotions. We drew positive smiley faces on yellow paper chains too!
