Saturday 3rd December 2016 saw our school celebrating the start of Christmas with our super Christmas Fair, organised by the Friends of Codnor School. Visitors from our local community packed out the hall for three hours!
All the money raised is spent directly on things which benefit our children. We'll let you know the final total shortly.
We have some talented people in our local area! Stalls this year included beautiful wood, paper and bottle crafts; henna tattoos; jewellery; candles; delicious cakes and treats; mini Christmas trees; toys and games; mystery bags; and a chocolate fountain (which at one point suffered a slight malfunction and became a real fountain, to everyone's amusement. Warm chocolate spray - yum!)
Singers from lower school took to the stage and sang two lovely Christmas songs.
Our choir performed their first concert of Christmas!
Everyone said that they'd enjoyed the Christmas Fair. And as often happens, the camera was commandeered for some shameless selfies!
