Indicates that the child has achieved a particular learning objective in the piece of work.
In EYFS, the ticked LO symbol is used at the end of the child's work. In KS1 and KS2, the child writes their learning objectives at the top of most pieces of work (or they are printed on) and they are then ticked if they have been achieved.
The child has the opportunity to respond by commenting on their learning - or asking for further help - at the end of the piece of work.
