Democracy In Action - School Council Votes (2015)

Each year, our School Councillors are chosen by a vote. In each year group, candidates write and present a speech. Each year-group votes for who they would like to represent them at School Council meetings. This is an important job with responsibility.

This year, one of our Governors managed to secure the loan of an official ballot box - as used in real elections!

We'd like to thank Cllr. Chris Emmas-Williams for officiating. Also - many thanks to our children who put themselves up for election! Our classes enjoyed your speeches about how you would help to make our school even better. Politicians of the future! smiley
