• Parents' Evening Bookings

  Thanks to everyone who's signed up so far. Online bookings are open at this link. There are some spaces left in all classes, and a Waiting List option will appear when a teacher is fully booked. You can add yourself to this list and we'll be in touch, as we want everyone to have the chance to meet with their child's teacher.

   

  When booking, you'll need to enter your full name, child's name, and date of birth. Any problems, please give the office a ring next week on 01773 742537.

   

  Miss Laven's and Miss Wilson's Parents' Evenings are on Monday 9th March and Wednesday 11th March. All other teachers will have theirs on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th March.

   

  Y3 Parents' Evenings will be run by Miss Taylor, who has kindly offered to fill in for Miss Barton (though the staff member's name on the booking screen will still be Miss Barton).

• Winter Weather Update

  When the weather hits hard, we try to stay open if we can because we're well aware of the disruption that school closures causes for families. The safety of our children, staff and community has to come first, though, and we'll let you know about any closures as soon as we can. If we can make the decision the evening before then we'll do that, as parents have said they would like an early announcement whenever possible to help them plan childcare. Early closure decisions are always a risk for schools, however, in case of an unexpected thaw! Once the decision to close is made, though, we'll stick with it.

   

  Please download the Parent Hub app (it's free) to stay informed in case school has to close due to the weather. If this happens, we'll also post a notification on the front page of our website.

   

  If you don't hear anything via Parent Hub or our website, you're fine to assume that school is open as usual.

   

  There are some remote learning activities available on our website at this link if children are in the mood for it - but playing out in the snow is a valuable experience too!

  Parents Evening sign-ups are now live and were posted on Parent Hub. You can also book a slot through codnor.schoolcloud.co.uk. See our guide in Class Letters.

   

  Parents must enter their full name, child's name and child's date of birth for the system to recognise the family. If parents are attending together, please only make one appointment.

• Meet The Teachers

  You’re invited to an informal 'Meet The Teachers' afternoon, straight after school on Monday 29th September. You’ll be able to have a chat with staff, have a look around the classroom, and see some of the teaching resources we use. Refreshments will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring your children in with you. There will be biscuits! Hope to see you there! 15:40 – 16:15.

• Table Top Sale

  Got any old stuff to sell? Book a table at the Table Top Sale - £5 per table, Friday 28th March, 2PM - 4PM. It's basically a car boot sale on a table! This takes place in the Lower School hall.
