Our after school clubs are free to attend unless the letter says otherwise. We aim to offer a broad range of sports and activities throughout our school year which hopefully will allow lots of different children to attend depending on their interests.
In EYFS and KS1 clubs are usually based around fundamental skills with lots of fun team games and friendly competition. We have run clubs like Dodgeball, Cricket, Football and Gymnastics in the past and they are always very busy.
In KS2 the clubs that are run are based around the competition calendar for the Amber Valley School Sports Partnership and any other competitions we enter. Whilst we pick our teams based upon these clubs all children are encouraged to attend whether they want to compete or not. Clubs are always a mix of fun games and healthy competition between children of similar abilities and children are expected to behave as they would during the normal school day. We have run clubs for Football, Athletics, Handball, Basketball, Dance, Futsal, Gymnastics, Tennis, Netball, Table Tennis, Tag Rugby, Kwik Cricket, Dodgeball and Tri-Golf.
