Competitions 2021-2022

  • AVSSP Champion Schools The Champion Schools rankings take into account competition participation, success and following the School Games Values. We lead the way for both categories we are involved in - Primary KS1 and Medium Primary School (which cover KS2). There are still two more terms to go but we will strive to maintain our position at the top of both leaderboards.

131 children have been involved in one or more competitions, festivals or events and we have attended 35 competitions, festivals and events all run by the Amber Valley School Sports Partnership (AVSSP). We had wins in KS1 Sportshall Athletics, KS1 Dodgeball, Y5/6 Basketball, Y5/6 Netball and Y5/6 Swimming. We have had many 2nd and 3rd place finishes along with 5 School Games Values Awards - awarded for showing Respect, Teamwork, Passion, Determination, Self-Belief and Honesty.
