Hello all,
Here are a few recent updates (with some smashing photos) which you might not have seen yet!
Sports Day - see some pics of our annual Sports Day - fun for the whole school.
The Wizard of Oz - Y6's year-end performance raised the roof. See some backstage pics!
Making movies with Y2 - not as easy as it looks!
Garden renovations - Home improvements! See some pics of our children using the newly-renovated garden.
KS2 trip to Lea Green - an action-packed day told in photos.
A really useful Internet Safety meeting for parents and carers took place on the morning of Friday 15th July, led by PC Neil Hopwell. We've had some good feedback from parents/carers who were able to attend: they found it informative and "enlightening". We plan to run a similar evening session early in the Autumn Term. Watch this space!
For more information, click this link to Derbyshire Constabulary's website - they've written an article about their work with our children and other schools.
In this age of digital technology and social media, we need to keep our children safe online as well as on the streets. Please see our parents' "Online Safety and CEOP" page, and our children's "Safety Online" page - produced mostly by the children themselves (with a little help!
)
Please feel free to contact school, Derbyshire Constabulary, or any of the organisations mentioned in the pages above for advice on how to keep your children safe online.
